Garrett Mace

Hello BCA students, my name is Garrett Mace and I am running for Student Body President. I am eager to serve and improve our school; as I have the experience, the ideas and the motivation to make this happen. I have had past experience serving on the student council as the vice president of Vineyard Christian Academy.

I would like to address some of my ideas for this school year. It would be great if we could do two school dances per year. One would be in the fall and another in the spring. I would also like to see some interesting and enjoyable field trips on the schedule for our school. My ideas for  three potential field trips are the discovery center, the Idaho history museum, and particularly, the old Idaho Penitentiary. The Penitentiary offers a guided tour for high school students that includes many interesting stories from its past. Another fun event from last year that I would like to become an annual BCA tradition is an all school park day. Additionally, I would like to propose a policy change within our school that will promote organization among classes. I think that a school policy requiring teachers to post a weekly agenda at the beginning of the week would be beneficial to students and teachers. I would also like to create a suggestion box so students can share their ideas to be reviewed by the student council. In the past I had the privilege of working towards a legacy project for my previous school. This is a way I would also like to serve BCA. A legacy project would be completed for the lasting benefit of our school and host church.

Please vote Garrett Mace for student body President. Thank you.

Hello, students of BCA! I am Hayden Diviney and I am running for student president!

If I am voted into office, I want to increase teacher accountability and the amount of input students have within the school. I want the students to have a voice in important matters, not just the color of curtains at the school dance. Finally, I want to have a compensation for students if the teacher fails to post the homework on time. This could take the form of extra credit. These are just some of the many changes and policies that I will enact if you, the voter, elect me as president!

Greetings fellow BCA students.

My name is Tyler, and I want you to vote for me for student body president. I am a very orderly and open-minded person, and can listen to ideas and put them into action. I have no set goals or wishes for school-wide events, that means that you will get more of a say in what goes on at the school. Vote for me and I promise to make the
events student-oriented: events by the students, for the students. I cannot promise great big things, major changes, or outlandish endeavors, but what I do promise, I will do everything in
my power to fulfill.

Hello, BCA! My name is Rubi Tucker and I am running for student President this year!

First of all, I believe that we should honor Christ in everything that we do as Christians. My vision for Boise Classical Academy is that our alumni become faithful, Christ-following adults. We can start that right now, right here, at our school. Like many of my fellow candidates, I support weekly agendas that the teachers will post at the beginning of the week. However, I will also push for tutoring options (especially during thesis time)! I believe that this will help many students who are currently struggling at their schoolwork.

I support extracurricular activities such as dances and field trips wholeheartedly. School dances will be awesome! Hopefully, we will be able to see more field trips in the near future, including a possible out-of-state trip for the seniors. I will also push for increased communication and co-operation between us and schools throughout the valley.

Don't forget to vote for Rubi Tucker for student president!
